Our foundation

Pakistan Education Project was founded and operates through the spirit of volunteerism. With the onset of Covid in 2020, our founders were prompted to help others directly or through established charitable organsiations. During this time, the idea of allocating our own time towards a project was discussed and explored and PEP established thereafter. Not a single person in any capacity is paid a salary, stipend or any form of financial reimbursement. All of our co founders and volunteers are professionals from diverse backgrounds. By allocating a number hours regularly from personal time, volunteers run the project throughout the year. Our team is either in the United Kindom based fund raising team or Pakistan based project management team. In addition to this, volunteers from both the United Kingdom and Pakistan have dedicated roles whether it be admin, finance, social media etc . . Project core values and being of service to others is at the heart of our foundation.

ORGANISATIONAL MODEL

At the heart of our organisational model is the payment directly to schools of fees on behalf of families from low income homes. Structured partnerships are in place with specific schools and once funds are raised, these are immediately allocated to children on waiting lists.

UNITED KINDOM TEAM

The fund raising team is based worldwide with the organisation itself based in the United Kingdom where all our founders either live, work or have studied. This team is involved in simply raising awareness of the project during their normal daily lives.

PAKISTAN TEAM

Our Pakistan team consists of volunteers who are now based in Pakistan having studied in the United Kingdom. Their critical role is to identify and carry ouy due dilligence on respective schools and families and effectively manage the project on the ground.
